This work, namely, The Holy Quran with English Translation, was first published in Istanbul in 1992.
Mr. Bilal Basar had a vision and developed a project to send the English translation of the Holy Quran, first to the African Nations and to all regions in need, around the world.
In this regard, Prof. Dr. Ali Ozek, Prof. Dr. Nureddin Uzunoglu, Doc. Dr. Tevfik Rusdu Topuzoglu, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Maksudoglu provided translations applicable to their sections of The Quran.
To this day, published 12 times by different publishers under different names, our publishing company, Server Yayınları, has acquired all financial and legal copyrights of this translation. Today, apart from Prof. Dr. Ali Ozek and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Maksudoglu remaining translators have passed onto the hereafter. We pray to Allah to have compassion and forgiveness granted to their souls. We wish and supplicate for Mr. Bilal Basar, Mr. Ali Ozek and Mr. Mehmet Maksudoglu to have long and healthy lives.
